What will be your lakers DREAM TEAM?( If you can take laker players from different eras in their pri

The starters would be as they are all great team players:

C Wilt Chamberlain (Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame)

F James Worthy (Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame)

F Elgin Baylor (Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame)

G Jerry West (Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame)

G Magic Johnson (Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame)

Off the bench most likely as 6th man for energy and scoring:

G Kobe Bryant (future Hall of Famer)

Next off the bench for scoring:

F/C Bob McAdoo (Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame)

Second team

C Kareem Abdul Jabbar (Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame)

C Shaquille O'Neal (future Hall of Famer)

F Keith Wilkes

G/F Michael Cooper

G Gail Goodrich (Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame)

Players #13 through #15 (available to play in any regular season game as long as the refs are notified before the game of the full 12 man roster; whatever this list is called, it replaces the old disabled list which was a joke in the NBA to just stockpile players for practice):

C George Mikan (Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame)

F Vern Mikkelsen (Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame)

G Slater Martin (Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame)

So, my Lakers Dream Team would have:

11 current members of the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame

2 future Hall of fame members (Shaq and Kobe)

2 great career NBA team players (who would play great team basketball, provide a lot of energy, provide offense, and provide defense in Michael Cooper and Keith Wilkes)

The key is to start five team players while using Kobe as the 6th man to bring energy and instant scoring into the game.

Bob McAdoo would also bring instant scoring into the game as the 7th player.

All of the 15 listed played their prime years with the Lakers except for Bob McAdoo who still in his late prime brought the Lakers two more NBA rings with his energy and scoring off of the bench.

Then, I would have former Lakers and Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame member Jim Pollard off playing in Europe with the promise that he would be the next member of the Lakers Dream team. He would be the 16th member, but current NBA rules allow only 15 players to be under contract.

C-WILT CHAMBERLAIN

PF-ELGIN BAYLOR

SF-KOBE BRYANT

SG-MAGIC JOHNSON

PG-JERRY WEST

I PUT MAGIC AT SG BECAUSE THROUGHOUT HIS CAREER HE PLAYED EVERY POSITION MORE THAN ONCE.
I would agree with the prashant's lineup, but Karl Malone is an important key. I would definitely include him in the lineup. And also, Karl Malone didn't play an entire season, 42 games I believe.
my dream team would be when they move out of la and go back to Minnesota or wherever the suckers came from. la doesn't even have lakes. doofus name. some things just were not meant to be. send those lakers back to the lakes, man.

get out of town, vamoose moochachas.
