The Suns have made it to the Finals twice (in '76 and '93) losing to Boston and Chicago in those respective years. They've also won conference championships in the postseason and division titles in the regular season. Let's not forget that there will be yet another banner being hung in the US Airways Arena (the Suns play here) in May. The WNBA's Phoenix Mercury won the WNBA title in '07.

When you win 14 or more championships, those division championship banners really don't mean much. I'm sure Jerry Buss uses those to dry off after swimming. When you've won.... zero championships.... every banner is sacred. "Gotta be proud we lost to the Bulls in the 90's." I think Memphis has some banners hanging up they made up themselves like "Most likely to succeed, 2003" and "Our College Team Almost Won it All 2008."
